Point #1 People Suffer Because This World Is Broken And Cursed
Genesis 3:16-19
[16] Then he said to the woman, "I will sharpen the pain of your pregnancy, and in pain you will give birth. And you will desire to control your husband, but he will rule over you. " [17] And to the man he said, "Since you listened to your wife and ate from the tree whose fruit I commanded you not to eat, the ground is cursed because of you. All your life you will struggle to scratch a living from it. [18] It will grow thorns and thistles for you, though you will eat of its grains. [19] By the sweat of your brow will you have food to eat until you return to the ground from which you were made. For you were made from dust, and to dust you will return."
GOD’S PLAN = He allowed us to be separated from Himself by sin so that He could show us How much He loves us.
We are not robots…we have an option…
His love has no limits…gave up Glory in Heaven to die for you.
Sin cursed us, pain, misery, work, sweat, death,
Your pain may be caused because we live in a cursed world. People die. Why does God take people…

Galatians 6:7-8
[7] Don't be misled-you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant. [8] Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit.
God gave us the freedom to choose…if we choose wrongly it always produces pain and suffering.
Sin Hurts…it's not fun…
Some believe we must do better and better and better and better and someday Jesus will love us.

His love is perfect, complete, full on right now!
Sin Hurts…the wages of sin is death…all the time…What you reap that is what you will sow.

Sow bitterness you will be bitter
Sow hate, you will be full of hate
Live for pleasure and selfish gratification, you will reap a life of loneliness, emptiness, pain and death.
Repent, lay it on the table, turn around
JESUS IS THE WAY! FOLLOW HIM!

1 Peter 1:6-7
[6] So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you must endure many trials for a little while. [7] These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold-though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world.

THERE IS NO GAIN WITHOUT PAIN.
He will never allow anything in your life that you can’t handle.
His one ultimate goal is to teach you that in Him you can do anything, without Him you can do nothing.

Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
In conclusion
If your in pain it is most likely because you brought it on yourself. Sex, Drugs, Rock and Roll
Or it might be because this world is cursed.
All of it was allowed by God to make you stronger…but that depends on whether you grow bitter or better.
That would be up to you.
Pain sucks…I know…if your hurting today pray with me.
Pray
