What is so good about Good Friday?

Hey everyone
Good Friday is a chance to remind ourselves of the sacrifice that Jesus did when he died on that cross. The unbearable pain from the human side is one thing but the truth is that hundreds of thousands of people died from crucifixion and some are still dying to this day from that torturous death. So what makes it so special that Jesus did it?
There was a divine pain a supernatural pain that we will never understand The pain of having yours and my sin on his back
And not just us but the entire human race from Adam and Eve to the last baby born
There was a separation between father and son, essentially a separation in God himself something that we will never understand or comprehend, but it was clear when Jesus cried out father why have you forsaken me?
Good Friday is a time to search our hearts and truly believe that his death is enough and his blood is enough and we are forgiven, made holy and completely righteous not because of what we have done but because what he has done on that cross
It’s also a time to put all of our bitterness and brokenness are grudges against others, our hatred of others, our sin towards others on the cross Jesus didn’t just die for you and me. He died for everyone and we must forgive if we are to be set free.
Forgive us, our trespasses as we forgive those trespass against us
I just want everyone to know that on this Good Friday we are together so imperfect and yet completely righteous because of what Jesus has done for us It is a time to empty ourselves, examine ourselves and allow Jesus to make us free with his sacrifice so lovingly displayed over 2000 years ago.
So what’s so good about Good Friday? Jesus our only hope our only salvation and our eternal example of what it truly means to love others.
God bless and I hope to see you on Sunday
